PMP e-learning is based on the Project Management Institute, A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge,(PMBOK® Guide) – Sixth Edition, Project Management Institute, Inc., 2017. Students can view and review e-learning sessions, complete a range of interactive exercises, and test themselves with a range of multiple choice questions based on those you’d expect to see in the PMP examination. All aspects of the course must be completed in order to receive your course completion certificate.

To be eligible for the PMP certification, you must meet certain educational and professional experience requirements, and there’s a strict application process to authenticate this prior to exam attendance. We recommend you review the PMP handbook on the PMI website to fully understand this process.All project management experience must have been accrued within the last eight consecutive years prior to your application submission. The PMP exam is not included with this course, however if you decide to sit the exam then you must have either:

• Secondary degree (high school diploma, associate’s degree or the global equivalent)
• Minimum five years/60 months unique non-overlapping professional project management experience during which at least 7,500 hours were spent leading and directing the project*
• 35 hours of project management education OR CAPM certification or Four-year degree Minimum three years/36 months unique non-overlapping professional project management experience during which at least 4,500 hours were spent leading and directing the project*
• 35 hours of project management education OR CAPM certification
• Leading and directing the project as identified within the tasks, knowledge, and skills specified in the Project Management Professional Examination Content Outline.

You should have experience in all five process groups across all your project management experience in your application. However, on a single project, you do not need to have experience in all five process groups.
