    Content – What do you learn in the training?

    PRINCE2 Agile combines the flexibility and responsiveness of agile methods with the clear and defined framework of PRINCE2®. This method was developed specifically for companies and individuals who already use PRINCE2 and want to benefit additionally from the advantages of agile methods. PRINCE2 Agile provides comprehensive guidance on the simultaneous application of PRINCE2 and agile methods. It avoids conflicts and ensures effective implementation to get the best of both worlds.

    Aim of the training – What benefit do I get from the training?

    Upon completion of your PRINCE2 Agile Foundation and Practitioner course, you will have the following competencies:

    • You will know the basic concepts of common agile ways of working.
    • You will understand the purpose and context of combining PRINCE2 and an agile way of working.
    • You will be able to apply and evaluate the focus areas to a project in an agile context.
    • You will be able to identify the six aspects of a project in an agile context and apply them accordingly.
    • You will be able to apply the PRINCE2 principles, themes, processes and management products to a project in an agile context.
    • You will be fully prepared for the PRINCE2 Agile Foundation and Practitioner exams.

    To book and take the PRINCE2 Practitioner examination, the candidate must produce proof they have passed one of the following:

    • PRINCE2 Foundation (or higher) – this applies to certificates received after 1st Jan 2009
    • PRINCE2 Agile Foundation
    • Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)
    • Project Management Professional (PMP)
    • IPMA Level A® (Certified Projects Director)
    • IPMA Level B® (Certified Senior Project Manager)
    • IPMA Level C® (Certified Project Manager)
    • IPMA Level D® (Certified Project Management Associate)

    Exam

    Foundation Exam:

    • 60 minutes
    • 60 multiple choice questions to answer
    • You pass if you achieve at least 55%, i.e. 33 out of 60 points
    • Aids are not permitted

    Practitioner Exam:

    • Objective testing
    • 50 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) in 5 exam sections
    • Pass mark is 30/50 or 60%
    • 150 minutes (2.5 hours) including additional reading time
    • Open book (Only the official PRINCE2 Agile manual)
    • Online exam provided by PeopleCert
